To uphold this commitment, the institution has constituted an Internal Committee (IC) in accordance with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 (POSH Act). The Committee is responsible for preventing sexual harassment, addressing complaints promptly and fairly, and promoting a culture of mutual respect and equality.
Objectives of the Internal Committee
The Internal Committee aims to:

What Constitutes Sexual Harassment?
Sexual harassment includes any unwelcome act or behaviour of a sexual nature, whether direct or indirect, including but not limited to:

Unwelcome physical contact or advances.

Requests or demands for sexual favours.

Sexually coloured remarks or jokes.
-
Showing or sharing inappropriate images, videos, or messages.

Stalking or repeated unwanted communication.

Verbal, non-verbal, or physical conduct creating an intimidating, hostile, or offensive environment.

Any other behaviour prohibited under the POSH Act, 2013.

Responsibilities of the Committee
The Committee is responsible for:

Complaint Procedure
If you experience or witness sexual harassment, you may:

Submit a written complaint to the Internal Committee.

Provide relevant details and supporting evidence, if available.

Cooperate during the inquiry process.

Receive updates regarding the progress of your complaint.

Obtain appropriate support and assistance throughout the process.
