The award is traditionally presented during NEPNI's Lamp Lighting & Oath Taking Ceremony, one of the institution's most prestigious annual events.

NEPNI Award of Excellence 2012 was conferred to Dr Ramesh Deka, the then Director, AIIMS,New Delhi

NEPNI AWARD 2022 to Dr Nanigopal Mahanta

NEPNI Trust gave away the 2022 NEPNI Award of Excellence for Meritorious Academic Achievement to Dr. Nani Gopal Mahanta, Advisor to the Education Department, Government of Assam  .

NEPNI AWARD 2023 to B.R.Samal,IAS

NEPNI TRUST gave away the 2023 NEPNI Award of Excellence to Mr. Biswaranjan Samal, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary, Govt. of Assam for his tireless effort to be assimilated with Assamese Culture and Music.

Award to Dr Amarjyoti Choudhury,2017

It was Dr Amarjyoti Choudhury, the then Vice Chancellor Guwahati University who was awarded with this award in 2017 for his outstanding contribution towards education.

NEPNI AWARD to DR ILIUS ALI 2019

Dr Ilius Ali, a welknown personality of Assam, a Padmasree Awardee,  contributed a lot in the field of population control through his outstandng endeavour throughout his career.

NEPNI AWard 2018 to Dr Joysree Goswami

NEPNI Trust  awarded “NEPNI  Award  of Excellence  2018” to Padmashree Awardee Dr. Joyasree Goswami Mahanta on 15th March, 2018 for her contribution in the field of literature and to Mrs. Mofida Begum,ANM  for her community service for above 20 years.

NEPNI AWARD to Dr Madhab Rajbongshi

NEPNI Trust felicitated with the “NEPNI  Award  of Excellence 2020” to Dr. Madhab Ch. Rajbangshi Sir, the then Additional Superintendent, MMCH, an annexe Hospital of GMCH in appreciation for his dedicated service in the Healthcare sector.
